Today on our 2001 Ford F-350 Super Duty with dual rear wheels we're going to be testing the Glacier Twist Link Snow Tire Chains with cam tighteners designed for the light truck applications with dual real wheels, part number PWH4221SC. These are designed for highway use and have a speed rating of up to 30 mph. These are not intended for off-road application. It will work great on either the front or the rear wheels of the vehicle. Let's take a minute and get them put on the truck. As you can see we've laid them out nice and flat here. Our hooks are facing up towards us, so when we grab this side of the chain and place it over the tire those are going to remain away from our sidewall. more

Today on our 2001 Ford F350 with dual rear wheels, we're going to be test fitting the Titan Chain Dual Rear Wheel Snow Tire Chains in the ladder pattern and the V bar length. The part number is TC4821. This is designed to cover both the passenger side and driver's side, so one part number will take care of an entire axle. We'll show you how to get them installed onto your vehicle. What we're going to do is place our chains on the ground with the hooks side up, got a smooth side here on the back and the hooks are exposed here on the front. We want these to be facing away from our sidewall, so that smooth side will be riding right up against our tire. We've got them all stretched out here, you want to make sure you don't have any kinks or any twists or any tangles to deal with. more

Today on our 2001 Ford F350 Super Duty with dual rear wheels, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Titan Chain, dual rear wheels snow tire chains, with the ladder pattern and twisted links, part number TC4221. As you can see, we've got our chain here, we're going to show you how to get it installed on your vehicle. It comes in a nice water resistant storage bag. To install, the first step we need to do is get these laid out straight. We position this so our center chain is lined up with the middle of our dual rears. Our outer chain is on the outside and our inner chain is on the inside of our wheels. Now we just kind of go ahead and spread this out, again, making sure we don't have any kinks or any tangles. When you're driving onto your chains, you do want to be sure that the hook portion is facing down towards the ground, so when we bring our chain up and over, that will be facing out and away from our sidewall. more

Today on our 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty with tire size LT245/75R17, we'll be installing the glacier tire chain, part number PWH3810SC. Now, this specifically designed V-style links provide extra grip for superior traction in snow and ice. To install these chains, all we need to do is get them out of the packaging and lay them out on the floor to make sure we get any tangles out of the chains. We can then place the chains on the tires, making sure that the hooks of the cross chains face out. You also want to make sure that the cams are on the outside of the tire. Now, here are the connections at the bottom of the tire. more
